About the Project

Our Aim

Rwanda is a country of cycling. Cycling makes up a considerable part of daily life.

We love Rwanda and cycling.

We want to support education and cycling in a fascinating country and make a significant contribution here. Our main aim is to set up a regular qualification program for bike-mechanics.

We want to find and support young talents who are being trained as bike-mechanics. An intensive training programme should create sustainable jobs and put cycling on a broader footing.

250

Rwanda has a strong cycling culture. It includes road, gravel or MTB, there are teams for juniors and women.

Mechanics lack the skill to service modern race bikes

e-Bikes

Expected to enter market on big scale, but no mechanics are trained

The Gear up Rwanda Project
